  • Internal accountant – for larger companies, it is advisable to have an in-house employee.
  • Tax advisor – for more complex accounting operations, tax optimization, and representation during inspections.
  • Software – economic and accounting programs (e.g., Money S3, Pohoda, iDoklad) for invoicing and VAT.

Self-employed person (OSVČ)
  • Accountant / tax advisor – assistance with tax records, VAT, and VAT control statements.
  • Software for the self-employed – simple programs (e.g., iDoklad, Fakturoid, TaxEdit, Účto Tichý, Pohoda Start).
  • Simplification options: Flat-rate tax – only invoices are recorded; Flat-rate expenses – income overview is kept and percentages applied.
  • State support / information: The Financial Administration provides guidelines, forms, and methodology.

Employee (without business activity)
  • Does not keep accounts – the employer handles wages, contributions, and taxes.
  • Support: payroll accountant at the employer (pay slips, contributions, annual reconciliation).
